Woo-Hoo!! Yes!! Anytime we can combine "Confident" and "Un-bored" in the same hope we have for our tween or teen aged children, it is an automatic win. Emily Lawson, Owner of Sandbox Academy, shared with us last week in Episode 44 all the benefits of INDEPENDENT PLAY in our preschool children. Our older children need this time of similar independent play to grow, too, and there are some super simple ways we can make it fun, inviting, and cool (BONUS POINTS!) for our tweens and teens.
