EP 85 | The one VALUE our instant gratification world forgets to teach our children about GOALS
As parents, it's such a unique thing to watch our children reach a goal they've been striving for - the values learned, the character built.
Sometimes the goals our family team is working toward and eventually reach feel so normal, like the next part of the journey, that we forget to stop and take time to really look at what fruits are produced because of a dream achieved or prayer answered.
And when the world around us tells us that instant gratification is the rule, we can forget what it means to actually accomplish something with great resilience and perseverance.
Let's teach our families more values that will help them grow into the people God created them to be.
Let’s grow!

HIGHLIGHTS FROM THIS EPISODE!
We pray for a lot. We hope for a lot. We dream for a lot. But are we willing to WORK for it to do our part to make it happen?
Do we think about the consequences -good or bad- that may be the result of our prayer or dreams coming “true”?
In our instant gratification world, it’s easy to look around and think it’s all handed out without much work.
God may offer us a blessing, but only AFTER we show we are ready by working hard, and even then it requires us to continue to uphold our end of the deal.
Work and responsibility: we can’t have one without the other.
As we enter a new year and start setting our eyes on new goals, the thought of “working” to achieve those goals is going to be inevitable.
Whether you’re praying, dreaming, or hoping, it’s not happening without WORK.
